Products Portal

The https://portal.biscit.com/ is a web application to provide visibility of Epicor Kinetic Warehouse licenses to customers. The portal would display the devices configured to the licenses and the details of the device. Lost or damaged devices can have their license removed to be reassigned to another device..

I. Signup Process

1. An e-mail invite will be sent to the customer by the admin user.

2. Click on here to direct to the setup page.

3. In the Setup Page, type in the same e-mail address used by the admin to add the customer to the Biscit Products Portal.

4. Click on Send verification code.

5. An e-mail containing the verification code will be sent to the user’s inbox.

6. Type in the e-mail used in the Email Address field.

NOTE: If a verification e-mail has not been received by the user, click on Send new code. A new verification e-mail will be sent to the user’s inbox.

7. Type in or copy the verification code from the e-mail into the Verification Code field and click on Verify code.

8. Once the e-mail address is confirmed, click on Continue.

9. The customer will be asked to setup a password.

10. Type in the same password to be used in the New Password and Confirm New Password fields and click Continue.

11. In the https://portal.biscit.com/ page, login using the e-mail that was registered and verified into the system and type in the password that was chosen for the account.

12. Click on Sign in.

II. Home Page Guide

13. In the https://portal.biscit.com/ home page, all the Biscit products will be listed.

NOTE: The product with an existing license will be the default selected license.

14. The products for which the company do not own a license are disabled.

15. In this case the EKW product is enabled and selected by default, and within the page the company details and all the licenses are listed.

III. View License Details

15. Click on the View Info button or on the License tile to view license summary and devices attached to license.

IV. Devices

17. Below the License summary all the devices and the details are displayed.

NOTE: A device can be searched using the Search devices search box based on the Device type, Device ID and Tag.

18. In the Search devices search box, enter either the Device type or Device ID or Tag associated to the device and hit the Enter key.

19. The results are filtered and will display the following fields.

20. In the bottom of the page, select the number beside Rows per page to display the drop-down menu to change the view accordingly:

  1. Use the chevron icon to view the other device rows.

22. Edit devices

a. Adding/Removing Tag Name:

  1. Add/remove a Tag name to a device by clicking on the tag name or the “add” icon.

  2. Type in the tag name and click on SAVE.

  3. Click on REMOVE TAG to remove the saved Tag name associated to the device.

b. Exporting a copy of the list as a CSV file:

  1. Click on EXPORT ALL DEVICES TO CSV to download a CSV file onto your computer.

c. Deregister a single device:

  1. Click on the deregister icon.

  1. In the Deregister Device screen, state the reason for deregistering a device in the Reason field.

  1. Click SUBMIT.

d. Deregister multiple devices:

  1. Tick the Multiple Selection check box on the devices listed that will be deregistered.

  1. Click on the DEREGISTER SELECTED DEVICES button.

  1. State the reason for deregistering in the Reason field and click SUBMIT.

  1. The deregistered devices are disabled and cannot be selected, but tags can be added to the deregistered device using add tag icon.
