# How to Create a Proposal
1. Go to the **ERM** home page.
2. In the **Proposals** section, click on the **Add i**con.
2.1 Or Click go to the the Proposals section and click on **Create New Proposal**.
3. Click on a Company to create the **Proposal** for.

4. Review and check the details of the proposal. There will be fields that need editing, such as the **Site** field.
5\. Click on the **Site** field and select the proper site in the drop-down menu.
6. Once the details are complete, click on **Ok**.
### Adding Line Charges
7. Click on the **Add** icon beside the **Line Charges** field.
8. Select the date range using the digital calendar.
9. In the timeline, search and click on the **Equipment** line for the equipment you would like to add to the proposal.
### Adding Category Line Charges
10. Click on the **Add** icon beside a **Category** to add it to the **Proposal**.
10.1 Type in the quantity in the **Quantity** field and click **OK.**
12. Review the details.
13. There are instances where the rate is not set for an equipment, the rate can be edited and added in for the **Line Charge**.
### Editing Line Charges
13. Click on the **edit** button and type in the rate manually.
14. Once details are finalized, click **Ok**.
### Adding Miscellaneous Charges
15. Click on the **Add** icon beside the **Misc Charges** field.
16. Click on **Add Misc Charge**.
17. Click on **Select Misc Charge** and select the **Miscellaneous Charge** to be added in the drop-down menu.
### Editing Miscellaneous Charges
18. To add another Miscellaneous Charge, click on **Add Misc Charge** again and repeat the same step as before.\
\
**Note:** There are **Miscellaneous Charges** that will not have a set value.
19. Click on the **Rate** field to edit and enter in the necessary value for it.
19. Once all details are completed, click **Ok**.
### Adding Miscellaneous Charges Via Line Item
20. Click on the **Line Item**.
21. Go to the **MISC CHARGES** tab and repeat the same steps as before.
22. Review the **Proposal** details. Once everything is finalised, click on the **Save** button.
