# How to Configure Format Masks

1. In the **ERM** page, go to the Administration and click on Format Masks.

The **arrows** and **delete** buttons between the sections can move the sections up and down and also delete the section in the naming convention of the Proposals.

2. The first section that can be formatted is for **Proposals**.

**Current Proposal** - Shows the name convention for Proposals before it is formatted

**New Proposal** - Shows the name convention for Proposals after it is formatted<br>

3. Click on the **Proposal Text** field and type in the character to be used in the naming convention.

4\. Click on the the **Delimiter Before** field of the **Day** section and type in the character to be used in the naming convention.&#x20;

5. Click the on the **Delimiter Before** field of the **Month** section and type in the character to be used in the naming convention.

6. Click on the **Delimiter Before** field of the **Year** section and type in the character to be used in the naming convention.&#x20;

7. Click on the **Next Number** field of the **Number** section and type in the character to be used in the naming convention.

8. Click on the **Leading Zeros** field of the **Number** section and type in the character to be used in the naming convention.&#x20;

9. Click on the **Increment By** field of the **Number** section and type in the character to be used in the naming convention.&#x20;

11\. Once all details are finalised, click on the **Save** button.

## How to Configure Format Masks For Agreements

1. In the ERM page, go to the Administration and click on Format Masks.

2. Click on the **AGREEMENT** tab of the **Format Masks** screen.
3. The second section that can be formatted is for Agreements.

**Current Agreement** - Shows the name convention for Agreements before it is formatted

**New Agreement** - Shows the name convention for Agreements after it is formatted

4. Click on the **Agreement Text** field and type in the character to be used in the naming convention.&#x20;
