Version Compatibility

BISCIT's wireless warehouse solution, now known as Epicor Kinetic Warehouse (EKW), has evolved significantly since its initial introduction to work with Epicor ERP 10.2.400. The key to its development has been its alignment with the Epicor Kinetic platform and the use of modern APIs.

When considering the adoption of EKW for older versions of Epicor it is important to consider that EKW has evolved consistently over the years and EKW may have introduced features that customers will be unable to take advantage of without first upgrading to the latest version of Epicor.

EKW functionality is guaranteed on versions greater than 10.2.700. While EKW still works with the older versions, some of the more modern features will be unavailable. One of the notable introductions to EKW is the ability to use enhanced security options through MES Menu Security. Those features will not be available on versions prior to 10.2.700.

For customers on earlier versions of Epicor, BISCIT can offer a trial to allow the customer to assess feature set and compatibility.
